52nd meeting of the Executive Committee of Pacte Industrial

The Pacte Industrial of the Barcelona Metropolitan Region held the 52nd meeting of its Executive Commitee, attended by the representatives of the local councils and entities which comprise the association. The meeting, held on 18 April at the Palauet de Can Buxeres of Hospitalet de Llobregat.

Meeting of the Mobility Commission on sustainable mobility strategies in economic activity industrial parks

More than 130 people attended the meeting of the Mobility Commission of the Pacte Industrial in which was presented a methodology promoted by the Metropolitan Transport Authority (ATM) that simplifies the implementation of mobility plans in industrial parks. Xavier Sanyer (ATM), Juan José Casado (Pacte Industrial and UGT de Catalunya) and Carles Rivera (Pacte Industrial) took part in the event.

Publication of the transcripts and conclusions of the cycle “Dialogues and synergies for the 2030 circular transition”

The publication of the 1st Sessions of the Pacte Industrial collects the transcripts of the four days of the cycle, in which prestigious national and international speakers have intervened; and the conclusions and proposals for action, which have been contrasted and debated with a group of experts in a series of participatory workshops.

Presentation of Paper 7 at the Conference on Mobility in Barcelona of the UGT of Catalonia

The UGT of Catalonia, in collaboration with Barcelona City Council, has organised a conference on mobility in Barcelona that included a presentation of Paper 7 of the Pacte Industrial "The shift of the automotive industry towards electromobility: Impact and opportunities in the Barcelona Metropolitan Region" by Carles Rivera, managing coordinator of the Pacte Industrial, and Juan José Berbel, partner of the Metyis consultancy firm and author of the publication.

The Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona, new “special partner” of the Industrial Pact, and the Montmeló City Council, new “regular partner”

The Industrial Pact held its 26th General Council and the 51st meeting of the Executive Committee in Badalona. During the meeting, the talk "Transforming the industry from within the region: sustainability, innovation and empowerment of those involved" was given by Dr. Sònia Llorens, director of the ongoing Circular Economy and Sustainability Forum at Tecnocampus Mataró-Maresme.
