The Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona, new “special partner” of the Industrial Pact, and the Montmeló City Council, new “regular partner”

The Industrial Pact held its 26th General Council and the 51st meeting of the Executive Committee in Badalona. During the meeting, the talk "Transforming the industry from within the region: sustainability, innovation and empowerment of those involved" was given by Dr. Sònia Llorens, director of the ongoing Circular Economy and Sustainability Forum at Tecnocampus Mataró-Maresme.

50th meeting of the Executive Committee of Pacte Industrial and presentation on the economic scenario and prospects for industry in the Metropolitan area

The Pacte Industrial of the Barcelona Metropolitan Region held the 50th meeting of its Executive Commitee, attended by the representatives of the local councils and entities which comprise the association. The meeting, held on 26 April at the Palauet de Can Buxeres of Hospitalet de Llobregat, began with a presentation by Oriol Aspachs, the director of Economia Espanyola a CaixaBank Research and technical secretary of the Cercle d’Economia, in relation to the economic scenario and prospects for industry in the Metropolitan area.

The Pacte Industrial is committed to sustainable mobility industry as an engine of the economic recovery of the Barcelona Metropolitan Region

Jaume Collboni, President of the General Council of the Pacte Industrial, has announced during the 49th meeting of the Executive Committee the creation of the Sustainable Mobility Industry Forum to promote the transformation of the automotive, motorcycle and railway industries towards a sustainable (decarbonised), digital, shared, connected and autonomous framework.

48th Meeting of the Pacte Industrial Executive Committee and presentation of the proposals from the cycle on circular transition

The Pacte Industrial held the 48th meeting of its Executive Commitee, attended by the representatives of the local councils and entities which comprise the association. Over the course of the meeting the proposals arising from the cycle "Dialogues and synergies for the 2030 circular transition" were presented and the association’s latest activities - as well as those planned for the coming months - were reviewed.

Jaume Collboni: new president of the Pacte Industrial General Council

Pacte Industrial has held its 24th General Council meeting, at which Jaume Collboni, the first deputy mayor of Barcelona City Council, was chosen to be the new president. The 47th meeting of the Executive Committee has taken place jointly. The municipal councils of Sant Andreu de la Barca and Badia del Vallès, the Barcelona Zona Franca Consortium and the Sabadell 1559 Industrial Foundation were welcomed as new members of the association.
