The document “Present i futur dels polígons industrials: més enllà de la seva transformació” (The present and future of industrial parks: beyond their transformation), which was prepared by urban planner Maria Buhigas, aims to encourage discussion of the transformation of the industrial parks, with a view to addressing the complexity of a new, dynamic and changing industry, preventing obsolescence, and improving their ability to act as a factor of competitiveness. The presentation also included a discussion of the challenge of reformatting the industrial parks.
